Abstract:
Networks consist of set of computers communicating data, where wireless
networks send and receive data in wireless manner. The nodes in the sensor
networks communicate the data which is sensed from the surroundings. This data
is primarily of scalar nature such as humidity, temperature etc. and communicated
in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). The other types of data can also be
communicated such as audio, video, image, text or multimedia. These are
Wireless Sensor Multimedia Networks (WMSNs) which send and receive
multimedia contents. The vehicles or moving devices can also form the network
known as Mobile Ad-hoc Networks (MANETs) which are self-configurable and
without any centralized control.
