| Abstract: | Purpose The current study enumerates the inherent role of nutraceuticals in the management of obesity and its related comorbities. Conclusion Nowadays, nutraceutical seems to be most prominent agent for controlling number of ailments. Periodically conducting clinical trials help in determining the effect of nutraceuticals on obese people. Key findings Nutraceutical exhibit several health values and have been explored in the treatment of number of disorders. Though they have to be examined in the management of obesity, as it is a severe condition worldwide. The addition or exclusion of dietary food with functional food may help in elevating energy expenditure and increasing satiety, thus maintaining stable body weight. |
